Here lies interred the Bodies
of Two Sons & Two daughters
of John Hatton of Lightcliffe
VIZ Abraham, Nancy, Betty and
Samuel who all died in their
              Infancy
Likewise John Hatton Father
To the above Children who after
A painful affliction which he bore
with the Patience and Resignation
of a real Christian under a firm
confidence thro Christ of a glori
ous Resurrection departed this
Life Universally respected the
Fourth Day of November 1792
In the 69th Year of his Age
Also Elizabeth Hatton wife of
the above said John Hatton who
departed this Life the 9th Day of
April 1798, In the 76th Year of her
                    AGE
Also Mary, Daughter of the above
who died Nov 29th 1827 Aged 76
Years

          MEMORY
Of Jane Hatton the wife
Of Joseph Hatton of Light
Cliffe who died Novr 10th
1833 Aged 77 Years
She was a Mother of Peace & Harmony
Blessed are the peacemakers for
they shall be called the children
of God
Also of the above Joseph
Hatton who died Jan 4th
1845 aged 83 Years
This poor man cried and the
Lord heard him and saved him
out of all his trouble
Also of Ellen Daugh
ter of the above who died
May 20th 1851 Aged 60
              Years
